News and Events The HNS Unit of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Shrine Parish in New Manila, Quezon City, actively participated in the celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel last July. The Unit was assigned as offeror in one of the Novena Masses wherein members also served as Lectors and Lay Ministers. The HNS Youth Band provided the background music in the main Mass on the Feastday (July 16) and joined in the solemn procession that followed. In the procession some Holy Namers acted as marshalls. The Youth Band organized 5 years back, is maintained and funded by the Unit as an on-going Community Development Project. Its members were recruited from elementary and high school students of the depressed areas of the Parish. It is tutored by Bro. Mark Dandoy. Bro. Steve Hontiveros is the Unit President. |
